For the dough:

3 cups flour

1 tsp yeast

½ cup sugar

1 tsp mahlab

1 cup milk

¼ cup oil

Steps:

Mix all ingredients until smooth, then let the dough rest.

Shape and fill with the date mixture.

Brush with egg yolk and bake at 180°C for 15 minutes.

Serve warm and garnish as desired.
